Pack 60 Needs POC's for upcoming Summer Events!!!

Q: What does a POC do...
A: The POC attends the summer event and keeps track of which scouts attended. Send a copy of your roster to the Committee Chair (pack60spreckels@gmail.com) so those scouts will earn credit towards their Summertime Activity Award. 
Depending on the event, you may also be responsible for:

  1. Ordering needed supplies 
  1. Reserving the location 
  1. Setup
  1. Food ordering
  1. Cleanup/Breakdown 

After the event you will order patches for the scouts that attended your event. Our pack budget is about $1 per patch. Give receipt to the Pack Treasurer and you will be reimbursed. These links may be helpful to you to find patches:
After your event, celebrate your success at the September Pack meeting with the presentation of event patches for those scouts who participated.

We are in the front of the parade, please be prompt. Look for uniformed scouts and leaders. No sign up for this event, just show up. Pack Meeting Tuesday and Zooventure Camp Saturday, October 15th Info

Pack Meeting   Tuesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:00.  Spreckels Elementary Auditorium Note: Popcorn Orders and Dues ($100) are due. Zooventure 1 Day Cub Scout Camp. WHEN: October 15th from 9:00am-3:30pm WHO: The Zooventure is open to all registered Cub Scouts (Lions to Webelos) in the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council. EACH CUB SCOUT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHAT: Come and enjoy the fun and excitement of touring the Monterey Zoo and Cub Camp Activities. Pack Meeting Reminder and Coastal Clean Up Saturday, Sept. 17th

Pack Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 15th from 6:30-8:00, Spreckels School Auditorium A few highlights: Welcome New Families  (Tiger Families  click here ) •     Summer Awards     •     Webelos II Den’s will do opening/closing flags Please note: All scouts should practice the Scout Oath and Scout Law for the meeting (don't worry we'll have cheat sheets).  Dress: Class A's. Blue/khaki shirt, rank hat, neckerchief and slide. Pack 60 does not require uniform pants, jeans/shorts/pants are fine. 2.
