Sept. 1 Pack Meeting and Back to School Night at Spreckels.

6:30 PM - NEW START TIME for PACK MEETINGS
Sept. 1 - PACK MEETING!!! and ROCKET DERBY!!!
The pack meeting will include a BOBCAT ceremony for all new scouts. Please see the previous post on the blog for bobcat information. Please be on time for the meeting. The flag ceremony will start promptly at 6:30. All new tigers will sit together until we finalize dens in September.
WEAR YOUR UNIFORM TO Spreckels SCHOOL
The pack calendar includes uniform days for Sept. 7 and 8.
Please wear your uniform to SCHOOL and to Back to School Night at Spreckels School.
You should wear your uniform on the night that your grade level has back to school night.
Be sure to say HI! (in uniform) at the SCOUT TABLE by the office with CUBMASTER Pete to get a treat! If you recruit a friend, you earn a "recruiter patch. Ooooooh Ahhhhhh!

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
