DERBY CAR CHECK IN
Derby Check In

Please see the schedule for derby car weigh in. All scouts who are racing must turn in their car on Wednesday night at the fire station in Spreckels. Members of the volunteer fire department will weigh the cars and drill them or add lead for weight as needed.
If the car is just right and you KNOW it will weigh in without needing to be drilled, there will be an express lane just for you! This should help prevent anyone waiting around who does not need their car weighed.
You will not be able to apply graphite to the car after check in on Wednesday Night. Please have your car ready to race when you check it in. Cars will be collected on Wednesday.

Taco Night! Please RSVP for a taco plate for $7.50 each at the firehouse check in.
If you don't RSVP, their may or may not be food for you or your family.
Juice and Water will be brought by the pack.
Cookies will be available for a small cost.

It is important that your child's car be marked with their racing number. Den leaders have the numbers assigned to cubs.
