 WEIGH-IN TIMES: Spreckels Firehouse, Wednesday, January 21st

1.   If you can’t make your weigh-in time contact Sarah at pack60spreckels@gmail.com to have an alternative time assigned that evening. 
2.    Everyone participating in the Pinewood Derby must weigh-in January 21st and turn in the car that evening, we cannot accept cars after this date.

3. DERBY CAR NUMBERS: It is important that your child's car be marked with their racing number.. Your car number has been assigned, please click the link: Assigned Car Numbers

 Pinewood Derby Friday, January 23rd, Spreckels Veterans Memorial Hall, 5pm (across the street from the school)
We will begin the race at 5pm with the Tigers. As we continue the tradition of Pack 60, Tigers race first, then Wolves, Bears, Webelos 1 and finally Webelos 2. The top 3 from each rank will advance to the finals after Webelos 2 race.
The top 3 overall will advance to the District Pinewood Derby scheduled Saturday, February 21 at the Salinas Elks Lodge.

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
