Last Awards for Scout Year, FOS Presentation, Webelos 2 Crossover to Troop 60.
Troop 60 scouts will hold a special candlelit ceremony to welcome our Webelos 2 to Boy Scouts. This is a very cool ceremony you won't want to miss. 
Our new Council Executive Chris Schilling will be attending the meeting so please make sure your scout has their new rank's hat, neckerchief and slide. 
When: May 7th at 6:30pm sharp
Where: Spreckels Elementary School Auditorium
Wear: Class A's
Leadership Vacancies
Thank you to Mrs. Viarengo for volunteering for the Pack Secretary position. You Rock!
1. Advancement Chair-Pick up awards at the scout shop prior to Pack Meeting (3-4 times during scout year). Scout shop is in Sherwood Gardens. We need this spot filled ASAP.
2. Treasurer-Someone who likes numbers and can keep track of Pack 60's financial records.
3. Asst. Popcorn Kernel-During popcorn season (fall) assist Tony with Popcorn fundraiser.
4. Asst. Committee Chair-Fun, you get to help plan the year's Scouting program and adventures.

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Times and Car Numbers

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm. See you there!!! (Spreckels Elementary).   Dress: Class A's  Pack 60 will sponsor dinner (pizza, drinks and dessert)-Donations are always welcome. RULES: Click here for rules:  PINEWOOD RULES
