Pack 60 Meeting This Week, Dues and Popcorn, Scout Book

Pack Meeting, Thursday, October 15th, 6:30pm-8:00pm, Spreckels Elementary
New Scouts should be ready for their Bobcat Rank
Dues will be collected. Dues are $100 ($75 if your scout sells $100 in popcorn).
Popcorn order forms are due with money this Thursday. Checks should be made to: Pack 60

Meet at the Sea Lion Point Parking Area no later than 12:00.  Wear your class B gear.  The group will start hiking on 10/18/15 at 12:30.  Please be on time.

Bring your own lunch, water and trail snacks. Don't forget a jacket and binoculars.
Hike Statistics  
Distance: 4.4 miles round trip  
Time: Allow 3-4 hours  
Grade: Expect about 200 feet in elevation change  
Suggested Age: Tigers through Webelos

We are transitioning from Scout Track to Scout Book. Scout Book is user friendly and can be used as an app on your phone, tablet, etc. Scout Book is endorsed by BSA. Any advancements/achievements your scout completes should be logged into this system. We can no longer pick up awards at Scout Shop unless the award is entered into Scout Book.

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
