We need a representative from each Den to attend this meeting. We will be discussing upcoming summer plans and dates for the 2016-2017 Pack Year.

Memorial Day Flags, May 30th at 6:30am, Garden of Memories

What are you doing this Memorial Day Holiday?  
Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Please join Pack 60 as we assist members of the American Legion post flags to honor our fallen soldiers.

When: MONDAY, 5/30/16, 6:30 am sharp - 7:30 am, please be on time to receive instructions.
No RSVP just show up. We generally have 20 or more people participate.
Where: 850 Abbott Street, Salinas / Garden of Memories
What: Help post Memorial Flags in honor of deceased veterans
Wear: Class A Uniform, if chilly put a simple long sleeve shirt underneath.  Bring gloves the flag poles tend to be cold.
Scouts should strive to look their best as this is a formal and very important ceremony. This is an opportunity to practice service, respect, and responsibility. Please greet the American Legion veterans with manners and remember we are there to help honor deceased veterans.

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Times and Car Numbers

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
