Help Support Pico Blanco-Scouts are Encouraged to Attend Upcoming MoCo Board of Supervisors Meeting

Join Us For The Monterey County Board of Supervisors Meeting

We are seeking your assistance with a show of support. Camp Pico Blanco is slated to be closed until June 2019 at the soonest due to the Public road being damaged leading to Camp. We are going in front of the board of supervisors on Tuesday 6/13 at 10:30 am. Our request is that the supervisors reconsider the timing of the road repair and find temporary solutions for road access. We are asking, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture and Adult leaders to come in uniform so we can show that their community believes in Scouting. We will be having three designated speakers talk and make the request to our civic leaders.

Parade of Lights is Coming Up, Sunday 11/27

Where:        Parking lot south of Acacia and west of Main Street. We are entry #61. When:      Sunday, November 27th       5:30 PM, line up for the parade (it starts at 6pm) Bring:        **Please bring battery operated camping lanterns to light our way. Glow sticks, battery operated light strings, etc.         If possible, each scout should have a lantern to carry that casts a glow (not a beam). Wear:          Class A's, Santa Hats, Antlers... or holiday hats and anything that lights up! What:          Older scouts are needed to carry the Pack 60 Banner and Flags.        All participants receive a parade patch.

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
