Summer is Here! Here are some of the upcoming summer events for Pack 60:

June 19-23, 9:00-3:00. Cub Scout Day Camp, Toro Park

 We need a few POCs for Day Camp.  It's easy. Just write down the list of Pack 60 Scouts attending Day Camp and send to pack60spreckels@gmail.com.


 Webelos Resident Camp:  Camp Chesebrough, Santa Cruz
Cub Scout Resident Camp
June 8-11, All day/night. 

 June 15-18, All day/night. 

 We encourage incoming Webelos that have completed 3rd grade to join us this summer for a three night adventure at our Webelos Adventure Camp at Camp Chesebrough.  Campers will want to come back to camp the following year to take advantage of the Arrow of Light Track as well.  For this two year program the Staff are ready to assist with age specific outdoor requirements and electives that are challenging to take care of outside of this resident camp environment.

Parade of Lights is Coming Up, Sunday 11/27

Where:        Parking lot south of Acacia and west of Main Street. We are entry #61. When:      Sunday, November 27th       5:30 PM, line up for the parade (it starts at 6pm) Bring:        **Please bring battery operated camping lanterns to light our way. Glow sticks, battery operated light strings, etc.         If possible, each scout should have a lantern to carry that casts a glow (not a beam). Wear:          Class A's, Santa Hats, Antlers... or holiday hats and anything that lights up! What:          Older scouts are needed to carry the Pack 60 Banner and Flags.        All participants receive a parade patch.

Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Times and Car Numbers

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm. See you there!!! (Spreckels Elementary).   Dress: Class A's  Pack 60 will sponsor dinner (pizza, drinks and dessert)-Donations are always welcome. RULES: Click here for rules:  PINEWOOD RULES
