NEW Tiger Information

On behalf of Pack 60, WELCOME TO OUR PACK! Our pack's chartered organization is the Spreckels Volunteer Fire Department. Our pack is in the Santa Lucia (Monterey County) district. Our local council name is Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council (SVMBC).

Tiger is an exciting introduction to the scouting program for first grade boys (or 7 years old) excited to get going!   Tigers do stuff - lots of stuff - with their adult partners. This program is intended to open up the world to inquisitive minds along with the caring guidance of adults. The first steps along the Boy Scout Trail are laid here and every rank advancement through the scouting program builds on the basic categories of activity done as tigers.

Here are some helpful resources to get you started:

Uniform: Please have your Tiger come in his uniform to the first Pack meeting of the scout year in September, 6:30pm at Spreckels School Auditorium. Uniform supplies can be purchased at the Scout Store in the Sherwood Shopping Center, Salinas.  New scouts will need a shirt, hat, neckerchief and slide. We have the Pack 60 patch available for purchase. The scout shop staff will gladly help you pick our the uniform supplies. Scout pants are not mandatory, Pack 60 scouts are allowed to wear pants/jeans to meetings. Here is the link to the scout shop in Salinas:
