Pack 60 Cub Scouts

BACKGROUND: It's Pinewood Derby Time! Cub Scouts just like you have been building their own cars and competing in Pinewood Derby® events since 1953! At the heart of this event's success is the process itself - bonds are strengthened as the Cub Scout partners with a parent or adult mentor to design, carve, paint, weigh, refine, and race the car. In addition, Cub Scouts build confidence and take pride in their own growing skills and hard work. So enjoy the ride! Join us on Monday, December 18th from 5:30pm-6:30pm as we carol in the multipurpose room at Sunrise Villa, 1320 Padre Dr., Salinas (formerly called Villa Serra). We will sing the following songs: Deck the Halls Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Jingle Bells Frosty the Snowman Here Comes Santa Claus We Wish You a Merry Chrismas (Practice with your Scout this weekend, we will also provide the lyrics on Monday just in case) Each Scout will get a special present from Santa or one of his Elves.  Please wear Class A's or holiday attire (battery powered lights, festive hats, scarves).  Each Den should bring 1 dozen cookies.
