October is just around the corner!

GOOD MORNING PACK 60!
It's Saturday morning, and currently, raining.... I hope the 30+ dads and lads from pack 60 at Pico are staying dry and warm! October is just around the corner and we have some fantastic activities planned. Popcorn Sales are in full swing. Our pack and council depend on this fundraiser. Please participate. The pre-order sales have been going great!

Saturday, Oct. 1       Field Gleaning, RSVP here
     This field gleaning is a service project. 
Our scouts will pick surplus produce from a field to donate to local food banks. 
We will know soon where the field is located and notify only those who have RSVPd. Scouts and parents should wear boots or shoes that can get dirty. 
 
Thursday, Oct. 6      Pack Meeting @ 6:30, Spreckels School
Friday, Oct. 7          Webelos Only overnighter - see your den leader for details.
Saturday, Oct. 8-9    PACK OVERNIGHTER!!!!! Knights of the Roundtable.
    Please review the two overnight documents below for more information. 
    Be sure to RSVP now if you have not done so already. Costumes are encouraged!
    NEW pack 60 scouts will receive their BOBCAT on this overnighter at campfire.
    Scouts may bring their rockets for Sunday morning to have more fun racing!  
    Each scout participating will receive a special patch! Scouts who camp will receive an additional patch. 
    Fees for the overnighter will be collected on site. Bring your checkbook.


Pack 60 overnighters are LOTS of fun. Be sure to mark your calendars and join us for jousting, games, campfire, and SPACE DERBY rockets on Sunday morning. Pack overnighters are a family activity. Siblings and spouses are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
