Attention Pack 60 Leaders, Training Opportunity Coming Up November 19th

Online Registration has ended but walk-in registration will be accepted. You will be reimbursed for this training. Please keep your receipt and submit it to Sarah Bentley for reimbursement.
This training covers the basics for all Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout and Venturing Leaders!!! Please bring pen and paper for notes and your Leader handbook.
To earn the “Trained” patch, be current with your Youth Protection (Venturing Youth Protection version for Venturing Leaders) and for Boy Scout and Varsity Leaders, you will also need to complete or have completed Outdoor Leader Skills. You will need your BSA ID # located on your BSA registration card to receive credit for any online course.
Saturday, November 19th – Check in at 8:00 AM 
Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity and Venturing 8:30AM- 12:30 PM

Pinnacles Camping December 2-4 With Troop 60

Families of Cub Scouts Pack 60 will be joining Scouts Troop 60 at Pinnacles on December 3 and 4. Families are welcome to come on the 2nd, please speak with Mr. Woodson regarding arrival time. Troop 60 will be working on their own merit badges in cooking, and will be preparing a spaghetti dinner on Saturday night, and a French Toast and Scrambled Eggs breakfast on Sunday morning to share with the Pack. Parent assistance with preparing meals is always welcome! We will be staying at site 120 and 121 as a Pack/Troop! If you're a family new to camping, and you prefer mattresses and a canvas cabin with 30A power there are still sites available that you can rent, please see recreation.gov  to rent your site. The group site we will be at does not have power available. It's going to be a very fun weekend with scouts working toward their adventure achievement requirements, hiking, laughing, and of course, s'mores. We hope to see you there.

Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Times and Car Numbers

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
