November Committee Meeting and Veteran's Day Events

Committee Meeting, November 10th, 6:30pm, BVMS Room C1
Den Leaders and Committee Members should plan on attending the Committee Meeting this Thursday. 
If a Den Leader cannot attend please send someone in your place. Parents are always welcome to attend the Committee Meetings.

November 11th Veteran's Day Flags, Garden of Memories, Salinas, 6:30am
Join Pack 60 as we assist the American Legion raise flags on Veteran's Day at the Garden of Memories, Salinas, CA. Please note the time is 6:30am on Friday, November 11th. This event last approximately one hour. The poles are cold and gloves are often helpful. 

November 11th, Pack Meeting/Veteran's Day Parade, Salinas
12:30pm Meet at Palma High School cafeteria. We will hold a quick meeting. 
1:30pm Walk or drive over to the parade staging area. Staging area is in the Salinas High School parking lot on S. Main Street.
2:00pm Parade Begins at Salinas High and ends at Steinbeck Center
Scouts are dismissed when we reach the Steinbeck Center.

Pack Meeting   Tuesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:00.  Spreckels Elementary Auditorium Note: Popcorn Orders and Dues ($100) are due. Zooventure 1 Day Cub Scout Camp. WHEN: October 15th from 9:00am-3:30pm WHO: The Zooventure is open to all registered Cub Scouts (Lions to Webelos) in the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council. EACH CUB SCOUT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHAT: Come and enjoy the fun and excitement of touring the Monterey Zoo and Cub Camp Activities. Pack Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 15th from 6:30-8:00, Spreckels School Auditorium A few highlights: Welcome New Families  (Tiger Families  click here ) •     Summer Awards     •     Webelos II Den’s will do opening/closing flags Please note: All scouts should practice the Scout Oath and Scout Law for the meeting (don't worry we'll have cheat sheets).  Dress: Class A's.
