Pack 60 End of Summer Pool Party

Hope everyone has a great week back at school! 
Pack 60 will be keeping the summer fun going a little longer with a pool party at the Las Palmas 2 Pool! This event counts towards your summer activity requirement.
WHERE:  Las Palmas 2 Pool (for directions please email pack60spreckels@gmail.com)

WHEN:  Saturday, August 19th, 11am-1pm

What to bring: Your suit, goggles, sun protection, towel and cub scout spirit!

Please note:
1.  There will be no lifeguard on duty.
2.  If you are sending your scout with someone other than their parent or guardian you will need to fill out the BSA health form and send it with them. BSA Health form click here: BSA Health Form 
Please note you only need to complete sections A and B.

FOOD:  Dens have been assigned to bring food. Your potluck item should serve approx. 12 people
Wolves: Green Salad or Fruit for 12
Bears/Webelos 1: Drinks for 12 or Starchy side dish for 12
Webelos 2: Dessert for 12
NEW Pack 60 Scouts  - Your Choice of Potluck Item
Pack 60 will provide pizza, plates and utensils.

POC: Eric Sandoval-Please check-in with Mr. Sandoval upon arrival to event in order to receive credit for this summer activity.

Parade of Lights is Coming Up, Sunday 11/27

Where:        Parking lot south of Acacia and west of Main Street. We are entry #61. When:      Sunday, November 27th       5:30 PM, line up for the parade (it starts at 6pm) Bring:        **Please bring battery operated camping lanterns to light our way. Glow sticks, battery operated light strings, etc.         If possible, each scout should have a lantern to carry that casts a glow (not a beam). Wear:          Class A's, Santa Hats, Antlers... or holiday hats and anything that lights up! What:          Older scouts are needed to carry the Pack 60 Banner and Flags.        All participants receive a parade patch.

Pinewood Derby Weigh-in Times and Car Numbers

Wednesday, January 24th (Spreckels Fire Company Building)Please find your scout's Derby Car number here:  Pack 60 Derby Car Numbers Weigh-in times: 5:00-5:30pm= Lions (Den 4), Tigers (Den 2) & Wolves (Den 5) 5:30-6:00pm=Bears (Den 1) & Web 1's (Den 11) 6:00-6:30pm=Web 2's (Den 3 & 6) 6:30-7:00pm=Open Registration Friendly reminder that cars will be collected that evening.   Friday, January 26th -Pinewood Derby starts at 5pm, we race by ranks, Lions and Tigers will be starting right at 5pm.
