Parade of Lights CHANGE

11th Annual Salinas Holiday Parade of Lights
Sunday, November 27, 2011 - 6:00 p.m.
March in the annual holiday parade of lights with pack 60.
Where: 
      Parking lot south of Acacia and west of Main Street.  Click Link for more details.
When:
     Sunday, Nov. 27
     12:00 -2 PM, Meet Cubmaster Pete to decorate our float. no float, just walking in parade with flags and lanterns.
      5:30 PM, Return to line up for the parade (it starts at 6pm)
Bring:
       Our pack has a camping themed float planned.
       **Please bring battery operated camping lanterns to light our way.
        If possible, each scout should have a lantern to carry that casts a glow (not a beam).
Wear: 
        Cub Sweatshirts, Santa Hats, Antlers... holiday hats
Be prepared to walk down main street. A few scouts at a time will ride the float. 
Older scouts are needed to carry the Pack 60 Banner and Flags.
All participants receive a parade patch.
No RSVP needed. Just show up.

Pack Meeting   Tuesday, October 11th from 6:30-8:00.  Spreckels Elementary Auditorium Note: Popcorn Orders and Dues ($100) are due. Zooventure 1 Day Cub Scout Camp. WHEN: October 15th from 9:00am-3:30pm WHO: The Zooventure is open to all registered Cub Scouts (Lions to Webelos) in the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council. EACH CUB SCOUT MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHAT: Come and enjoy the fun and excitement of touring the Monterey Zoo and Cub Camp Activities. Pack Meeting, Thursday, Sept. 15th from 6:30-8:00, Spreckels School Auditorium A few highlights: Welcome New Families  (Tiger Families  click here ) •     Summer Awards     •     Webelos II Den’s will do opening/closing flags Please note: All scouts should practice the Scout Oath and Scout Law for the meeting (don't worry we'll have cheat sheets).  Dress: Class A's. Blue/khaki shirt, rank hat, neckerchief and slide. Pack 60 does not require uniform pants, jeans/shorts/pants are fine. 2.
