Beautification Day (Updated Time) and Pack Meeting

1. UPDATED TIME-Spreckels Elementary Beautification Day, Wednesday, September 23rd, 1:15pm-3:00pm
POC: Alissa Juillet-Give Alissa your name and den number at the beginning of the clean up.
Join us for a fun day of gardening, painting and cleaning! Music by DJ Simon and Pizza from Pizza Factory.
Mention Spreckels PTO at McShane’s Nursery (they will donate 20% back to our PTO). Bring your plant for a raffle ticket. Prizes: Family dinner for Pizza Factory, MYO Gift Cert, Movie Passes and many more.
Please bring: A bucket or reusable bag for picking up trash, gardening gloves for pulling weed, gardening tools. Cub Scouts no longer need to bring wipes. 
Dress: Class B or another form of scouting apparel with your rank hat.

2. Pack Meeting, Sept. 24th, Spreckels Elementary Auditorium, 6:30pm-8:00pm

A few highlights: Welcome New Families, (Tiger Families click here),  Summer Awards,  Popcorn Sale Forms,  Webelos II Den’s will do opening/closing flags
Please note: All scouts should practice the Scout Oath and Scout Law for the meeting (don't worry we'll have cheat sheets). BSA has discontinued the Cub Scout Promise and Law.
Dress: Class A's. Blue/khaki shirt, rank hat, neckerchief and slide. Pack 60 does not require uniform pants, jeans/shorts/pants are fine.

Pack 60 summer event at Bravo! Frozen Yogurt , come by after Toro Day Camp, after work or after working out, just come by and say "Hi, I'm with Pack 60" and 10% of your sale will come back to the Pack! When: Thursday, June 26, 3:00 until 7:00pm (if you can't make it after Day Camp, No Problem, we have until 7:00pm to get the credit) Where: Bravo! Pack 60 Upcoming November Events

Committee Meeting, October 29th, 6:30pm, BVMS Room C1 Den Leaders and Committee Members should plan on attending the Committee Meeting this Thursday.  If a Den Leader cannot attend please send someone in your place. Parents are always welcome to attend the Committee Meetings although it's not a requirement. November 11th Veteran's Day Flags, Garden of Memories, Salinas, 6:30am Join Pack 60 as we assist the American Legion raise flags on Veteran's Day at the Garden of Memories, Salinas, CA. Please note the time is 6:30am on Wednesday, November 11th. This event last approximately one hour. The poles are cold and gloves are often helpful.  November 11th, Pack Meeting/Veteran's Day Parade, Salinas We will be meeting approximately 1 hour prior to the parade start to have a quick meeting, distribute awards and march in the parade.
