Cars must be weighed tonight. INFO HERE
Remind your cub that cars will be drilled to add or take off weight.
Kids have a much easier time if they know this is going to happen.

Thank you for the RSVPs for food. This truly helps our Kitchen Team.

Friday Night is a CLASS A event. Cubs should wear their CLASS A uniform.
Please help your Cub follow the rules for the Vet's Hall.
It is a true privilege for us to use the facility.
All scouts must be supervised in the bathrooms. No running.

Pinewood Derby is tonight at 5:00pm Location: Spreckels Veteran's Memorial Hall Dress: Class A Uniform We need help setting up the tables and chairs, if you are  available please arrive at 4pm. Tigers race first, families should arrive no later than 5pm.  Wolves will race shortly after and should also arrive NLT 5pm. How it works: We race by rank. Top 3 Winners from each rank will receive a medal. Then the top 2 winners (gold and silver) from each rank will advance to finals. Top 3 Pack Winners receive a trophy and will advance to the District Level Pinewood Derby. Each Den should bring 2 desserts and a “race” themed decoration for the tables.

BACKGROUND: It's Pinewood Derby Time! Cub Scouts just like you have been building their own cars and competing in Pinewood Derby® events since 1953! At the heart of this event's success is the process itself - bonds are strengthened as the Cub Scout partners with a parent or adult mentor to design, carve, paint, weigh, refine, and race the car. In addition, Cub Scouts build confidence and take pride in their own growing skills and hard work. So enjoy the ride!
